Uptown Normal, IL- Acme Comics
Acme Comics is right next to North Street Records in uptown Normal, but they compete very well with North Street Records in garnering attention for a colorful, packed display to also make passerbys stop and take a look! There is so much going on in this display, which would not be a good thing for many kinds of companies as it would be too complicated and distracting, but with Acme Comic's action figures and items it works well! Fans of every comic, cartoon show, television series, and movies can find at least one toy in that window! Acme Comics does a better job of their company name font as it is placed at the top of the window in a banner-like way, so it is still noticeable and readable, but it doesn't get in the way or fight with the display. At night the neon signs of the Batman symbol and Superman logo light up bright, so even when the store is closed, it commands attention, and passerbys can still see the fun display.
